Why You Should Hire a REALTOR®

96% of buyers use a REALTOR® because it’s a free service and they get a professional to help find what they’re looking and coach them through the buying process.

That means only 4% buy without a REALTOR®. For the most part these are investors looking for a bargain and will expect a huge discount because you are not paying a commission.

By exposing your home to only 4% of the buyers without a realtor instead 100% with a REALTOR® you will not get the highest price. In fact, statistics show REALTORS® sell homes, depending on market conditions, for 14% to 28% more than when sold without a REALTOR®.

Therefore, you can net more than double the amount of the commission with a REALTOR®.

A REALTOR® will also sell your home much quicker and you can rest assured all the legal requirements are met. REALTORS® also have legal insurance in case there is still a legal issue after closing.

It is also important to know, 75% of real estate law suits are from properties sold without a REALTOR®.

REALTORS® know what to say to be legal and know what not to say that can cause doubt in the buyer’s mind and kill the sale.

Also, most buyers are not comfortable looking at your house while the home owner is there because they feel inhibited about discussing things they don’t like. Over all buyers are more comfortable using a REALTOR®.

It also sends an email to the buyer’s agent asking import questions about the showing. This information is then emailed to the listing agent. This helps the listing agent know what needs to be done to sell the property and why an offer wasn’t made.

We put a For Sale sign on the property from a reputable real estate company with a phone number buyers can call anytime.

If you are going to try selling without a REALTOR® make sure you do a criminal background check of your prospect and make sure they are qualified buyers by getting a pre-qualified letter from their lender. Otherwise, you could be showing your home to a burglar or other type of criminal.
